


Hatch began rapping in the 1990s as a member of the hip hop collective Concentration Camp, eventually pursuing a solo career in 2000 with the release of his debut album Youngest of da Camp. (born November 14, 1982), better known by his stage name Boosie BadAzz or simply Boosie (formerly Lil Boosie), is an American rapper. In February 2015, Boosie was sentenced to hard time in prison after a conviction on his third drug possession conviction. The Louisiana native signed a major-label recording contract with Atlantic Records, and has since been involved with six albums and ten singles. His second and third singles, "Dope Boy" and "Better Believe It," also reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011. Lil Boosie gained national prominence after the success of his debut single "Thug Passion".
